Why Kat is my friend

She is up for anything. Usually if you ask people if they want to do something they check their calendars, wallets, and pockets to search for an excuse why they might not be able to come. Not Kat, at a drop of a hat she will go anywhere and do anything in the name of fun (well for the most part). I would like to take this moment to thank her for curing the boredom that I had last week.

After 3 days of sitting around my house watching the 11 DVDs that I bought in Malaysia, I decided I needed out. Tottori sand dunes would be the destination, now I just needed to find someone who would go with me. I emailed Kat expecting a reply of "well I shouldn't because i just was in Korea and Tokyo" but instead she said "Sure, when?". So off we headed on our journey up the north coast. The weather was gorgeous, ocean blue and sakura in blossom, so it made the 7 hour journey not so bad. We arrived, checked out the massive sand dunes (which were worth the drive to see), got our picture with a camel and an hour later we were finished. Was it worth it, sure thing!

The next day was Rosie's bday hanami/bbq. It was a beautiful night and I had a nice time seeing people and catching up. Bummed that I was going to miss the Ato camping, Kat and I set out for Hiroshima. A friend of mine was DJing at my favorite club in Japan, so we went to go see him. As always, we danced the night away at the club. Bonding with all the cool j-boys there. That night we found ourselves staying at a love hotel. It wasn't too tacky but was fully equipt with condoms on the night stand, porn on the TV and hearts on the wall paper. It was clean and cheap and I would definately recommend staying there.

Thus ends spring break, so now I sit here waiting for the hours to pass to go home after a day of nothing.
